Curing Disease

This might be the cure for every major disease.  I know I don't have
a P.h.D., but please hear me out.

In 1940, the Tacoma Narrows bridge collapsed.  The explanation for
this collapse is simple: harmonics.  Energy gathered in the bridge
until the materials broke.

Now, think of a radio wave as the wind, and a virus as the bridge.
If you get the frequency EXACTLY right, it should break.  So, in order
to kill a virus, you could find a key molecular sequence or
configuration that is found only in that virus, and nowhere else in
the human body.  Then, precisely measure it, and create a radio wave
tuned to destroy it.  The body's existing clean-up mechanisms can
remove the debris.

Leaving the med issue alone, I don't think structural failure due to
extreme wind is quite the same as harmonics.

It turns out you are correct in that I chose a bad example.  However,
forced resonance via radio harmonics is a real world phenoma.
Otherwise, a crystal radio would not work.  This effect is much more
noticeable at the nanometer scale, and more than quartz is
susceptible.  Gold nanoshells are another example.
