Has anyone here tried to cure a wart by putting a band-aid on it,
ensuring that the sticky part of the band-aid covers the wart?

I think this works.  It's similar to the duct tape approach
but more socially acceptable.

Since warts are caused by a virus (usually a herpes) putting a bandaid
over it isn't going to make it go away - one must kill the virus.

One effective, natural method that I have used to remove warts from
children (especially plantars) is to use pure oil of Oregano.

You must remove the top layer of the wart carefully with an emory
board (not too rough or it will bleed).  The put 2-3 drops of the oil
on the wart - it will be warn and tingle.  Then cover it with a
bandaid.  Repeat this daily for about 7 days and your warts should be
gone.  (I am not a doctor, so this advice is strictly personal).
