I am looking for help from this news-group. This is my first time
dealing with this group. I need to help a very good friend of mine who
is looking for a research or medical Center able to resolve or at
least to reduce a serious neurological problem started one year ago.
.
Two month ago the "Carlo Besta", famous medical Center in Milan,
indicated its last diagnosis as:

MENINGO - MIELO - RADICOLONEVRITE CRONICA DI NDD

In my first post I do not want to expatiate regarding symptoms,
anamnesis, tests and prescribed cures that could be datailed
afterwards, if requested.

According to everybody's opinion, included family's doctor and other
specialists, the undertaken way until now, especially the Besta
Institute entry, was on the right truck.

However, the person in question, a sixty-year-old dynamic person,
owner of a big commercial company, doesn't resign himself to this
situation, which causes him disabilities and troubles and he wishes to
enter to other excellence and/or advanced research Centre specialized
into neurological diseases.

He believes, but he is not sure 100%, that the best structures are
located in U.S.A. and in doing his researches he asked my help.

I would be very grateful to whom can supply me with one or more
information, even out of U.S.A.

Thanks and best regards to everybody

Johns Hopkins, the University of Michigan, Columbia, Harvard, Stanford
and the Mayo Clinic all have excellent Neurology departments.

You can start there.

When a dear friend was diagnosed with a glioblastoma (brain cancer) he
chose Sloan kettering in New York and MD Anderson in Houston.  He
ended up selecting Sloan Kettering.  Both of these medical centers
have excellent neuro departments.
