Hi Everyone!
This morning my back was hurting so badly I could not stay sitting in my
chair here. I was dreading going to Physical Therapy. But I told the
therapist I was in pain, and he gave me some really good treatment! He
showed me on a model of the spine how many ligaments there are that hold the
spine together. He said these ligaments needed to be stretched. PT is very
satisfying, as opposed to dealing with lupus. I point to where the pain is,
and he tells me what he is gonna do and why... and I feel 1000% better. I
had a good therapist work on constricted ligaments in my shoulder 5 years
ago, and ever since then, my shoulder has been fine, as far as mechanics
goes.
The therapist says that there is really nothing that Physical Therapy can do
for autoimmune muscle inflammation, though. that is a time to take
anti-inflammatories and rest.
I wanted those of you who have been listening to me moan about my back...
that it seems that the PT is really starting to help.
I hope you too have something nice happen in your life today

I am so glad for you and and for your back Mair!
PT had never been a good thing for me but the fact that you are
getting such relief makes me rethink the concept.
I really believe that if you can get pain relief from anything
instead of taking meds that it is a good thing! and 1000% better?
can't beat that! cool!
Keep on keeping on and
good luck with it!
Hugs from Shelagh
