Thanks for the info Sherry, I printed it out and am taking it in to my PCP;
I am on fosamax and was switched to it about 4 years ago from Evista... I
have had so many swallowing issues in the past 2 or 3 years and am now
convinced that it is drug/fosamax related!

I have had esophageal spasms and some acid reflux as well... very
uncomfortable and unnecessary;  with Evista I had no troubles at all...
Evista is called  Raloxifene, generically speaking and I was changed over
due to liver involvement and clotting issues at that time.  I am sure it is
fine now but will get checked out prior to any changes.

Meanwhile I will do without the fosamax!
Also, thank you for bringing that to our attention!
hugs,
Shelagh

You are welcome.  I think that there are several on here who have /had
problems with swallowing and such and who are also using fosamax or similar
drugs.

Let us know what your doctor has to say about this info.

Hugs,
Sherry
