"A battle with the wolf"
When actress N’Deaye Ba was diagnosed with the life-threatening
disease lupus, she and her mother documented its effects with a video
camera. The result is a touching film that, three years after
N’Deaye’s death, received a standing ovation at Bafta.....

Wow, that is a heart breaking story!
Had she had doctors who were on their mark, she would not likely have died
so early in the course of lupus and at so young an age,
though of course that will never be determined now.
She was obviously a very strong and gifted woman to have documented all her
stages of her illness,
I'll give her that,
both her and her mother!
I am glad the producer she had worked for took it and ran with it to get it
out to the public....
I plan to buy a copy.
Thanks for your assist on this Andy, I had no idea of her nor info about her
story.

Hi All,
here is where you can watch the trailer video, and you can't really address
my question without seeing what I am talking about...

Do you see those swellings that she has under her eyes? Do any of you get
that? I have been getting that for about 10 years; mildly at first, and it
would only show up when I felt terrible. I have white skin, and the
swellings are red... bummer. The past week or so these swellings have been
really bad.
So... do any of you get this??
