After yesterday's post, wouldn't you know it, the paper today listed places to get window tint or
find information about it.

Here we go and remember I am not a spoke's person for any company, this was in the local paper.

Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...it’s about learning how to dance in the rain.

This address led me to a very cool site on Fifties sci-fi shows.

CP Films has a second site,
http://www.gilafilms.com/Residential/residential-window-film.htm
for their do-it-yourself films.

I've put CP Film's titanium-coated film on a couple of windows.  One
thing they don't mention on the box is that you need a small installation
kit for the do-it-yourself work.  It's nothing complicated or expensive.
A spray bottle of a soapy solution, a squeegee, a cutter with a
segmented blade and a cutting guide.  You waste a lot of plastic
following their directions, and I wish I'd simply cut it to size before
putting it up.  The major problem is that the film comes in a roll, so
once you remove the backing and expose the sticky side you have
to be careful that it doesn't curl up and stick to itself.  You need
to use their setting solution to wash it.

The film does work, though, and the titanium film has some good
heat-rejecting qualities as well.  They claim you can save almost a
hundred dollars per year on air conditioning costs.  The plastic in the
film is supposed to last for several years before it wears out (heat
and UV light will age plastic).  As a plus, if you live in the US they
give you directions to write off the costs on your income tax.
It's sold in some hardware stores.

Isn't that what they told the Tin Man in "The Wizard of Oz"?

TIN MAN in Wizard of Oz might be right there Bill.

But I apply it to my life because this past few years, seems like storms are always hitting my life,
medical, emotional and very stressful.   So Dance it is.  I do love to dance.

seems yesterday was a bad day for spelling for me.   Hey wish I could blame it on the "GOOD" stuff
but (sigh) tis only my mind all by its self....

have a good day>>>
WE are getting rain in OHIO finally.....after months of dry spells.  We just all pray it isn't like
last year when we had them aweful floods and my home town got hit bad twice in a couple months...It
is still a ghost town in some areas and this town is not small.
