As some of you know, I have been having a terrible time getting to see my
rheumatologist, because of the distance and my usually feeling too ill to
drive.

Well I just interviewed a fellow who is already doing this, and he is a
member of the agency that employs my other caregiver.  So it looks like I
not only have a ride for my upcoming appointment, but it may work out as an
ongoing solution!

Yay!

Why are you saying hooray for Twyla (not that she doesn't deserve it)?  I am
not taking Twyla with me to San Francisco.

Like ships passing in the night, this guy is a caregiver for a man just up
my street.  He could have taken me to UCSF Probably for the last two years,
when I have needed it.

Something rather spiritual is in the wind, though; with my rheumie of 15
years now out of the picture, and now suddenly a way to get down there.
UCSF called me to make sure I kept my appointment... that they were going to
have all his appointments covered.  I am not going to say much more, cause
rheumatology is such a boring, depressing business, not only for the
patient, but for the doctors as well.  So we'll just see what happens.

I guess I thought the thread was still about her results.
I hadn't seen the beginning and still can't
<except what you have included below in your reply>
of this thread, so my mind was with her...
however..
hooray for your trip to San Fran... OK?!
whatever....
that is my excuse and I am sticking to it!
