Yay!  We got good news for Twyla...it was a benign growth, a lipoma.  I'm
relieved, but then again, just like on humans, I think "I spent $xxx on my
cat for basically nothing? [I always think if I have an MRI of my head, well
there better darn be something in there, or I want my money back!]

Anyway, Twyla gives her thanks and love to those who were so devoted and
keeping her in thought and prayet

My love to you all,
Mary

Thanks for letting us know Mair, and glad to hear that the news is good.

BTW, I will be driving through Santa Rosa on the 23rd (up 101). How many
miles will I miss you by? I'm heading up to the North Coast just shy of Del
Norte County for some vacation time. Expecting that Linda (with her new
kidney) will be in better shape during this vacation than she has been for
many priorones.

pfft :)

The last vacation was a cruise. Four sessions a day of dialysis, 45 minutes
each, plus a stop by the stateroom an hour and half before ech to start
warming up the dialsate with a heating pad. We were surprised at how easy
it was to carry 36 hrs worth of dialsate on the plane. The TSA agent at the
airport had a family mamber with kidney failure so knew the drill.

The remaining supplies were delivered direct to the ship and were in our
room when we boarded. The dialysis clinic called us 2 hours before sail
time to confirm that the supplies had arrived.

not for nothing. Also gave a chance to ensure wasn't something tumorish like
breast.
Humans need companionship and what better than a purry furry. :)
Glad to hear she's okay.

I bathed my cat on Thursday. She's 17 now.
Needed nice warm day, so she wouldn't catch pneumonia.
I towel dry, then we go sit outside in the sun.
Well, golleee.... a stray cat decided to harrass her the whole time out there.
I think he thought she was a drowned rat - she sure looked like one.
I sprayed him with water - he wouldn't leave.
I hissed and flapped a towel at him - he wouldn't leave.
Maybe he didn't like her scent? Eau de Head and Shoulders. :)

Now she's dry and in excellent shape.
Next time he does it, I'll let her have a go at him. :)
Before claw clipping..and hope she sets him straight on which feline belongs
here.
