Yes, I take Cellcept in the generic form (mycophenilate), 3 grams per
day.  It seems to be working even though I still am on 25mg prednisone
daily.  I guess it does what the prednisone wasn't doing alone. (with
plaquinil, of course)

My experience has included extreme digestive tract reaction which I
control with "Beano" the wonder drug , imodium and lomotel.
You WILL need this!  The gas is hard to believe!!

My soreness, joint pain and much of the fogginess have subsided. I'm not
interested in trying to do without it.

I heartily endorse it!

Hi Tina, I have been on Cellcept for 4 years, just about to start
tapering off of it.  I too was on Prednisone along with the cellcept
for 3.5 years.  Cellcept alone didn't work for me.  The steroids
helped with the joint pain and to keep my Kidney's in check.  I did
not have anything unusual happen.  I will add that if you do not take
priolsec or something similar you may want to start.  I like the
cellcept over the cytoxin.  For me it has worked well.  Good luck,
