Did anyone see the news monday night, I think it was, ON NBC with Brian?   Well they had a segment
on LUPUS.   It was good and a female doctor told all about this mysterious disease that effects
mostly woman.

It was excellant.  I have seen in the last 2 weeks shows featuring lupus some way or another.  Last
night on ER the lady came to the ER with Pulmonary emboli, she died but it showed that lupus
patients are prone to PE and that doctors should look for it when someone complains of chest pain
and Shortness of breath.  The main reason the lady came in was she had a seizure as well. CNS was
noted in lupus patients.

Then another show had a lupus patient in it.  Seems it is more an more prevalent on tv. anyone else
note this?

I know May is lupus awareness month but it also is national hearing month as well as mental health
month. All of which has effected my family.  I am what they consider profound hearing loss, although
no one believes it since I compensate for it with lipreading and aide. Plus my daughter works for
the mental health field as a counselor and drug abuse consulor.

ONE More thing. I am having heart test again. Seems my cardiologist had dropped the ball on me. I
need more follow up and will see a vascular surgeon in Columbus OHio july 3rd.   They apparantly
didn't and I mean big time, order the right testing that should of been done. MY new doctor told me
right out. I could very well have a major stroke unless they figure out what is going on and if
indeed nothing can be done.  CRAP and that is saying it mildly.
oh and wound in my back from surgery? Still open but closing slowly every day.  going on 3 months
now
NOW you know what sh.. IS?

hope every one is good
love you all
