You out there? Hope you're okay.

That guy Tom (who replied to the other post) can be rough on people.
(but he was right)
That's why we tell people to watch the posts they reply to, especially
cross-posts.
I realize you may be new(er) to newsgroups and we all make "newsgroup"
mistakes.

Hope you're okay, check in when you can.

The news tonight showed knee and waist high flooding somewhere in

Hi Mel!

Good to see you're still with us.  I went back & saw that your email
count that one day was 552!  Ugghh!  I'm getting about 40 or 50 a day,
but they're quite easy to delete for me.

I hope your little girl is okay.  And I hope you do not contract it if
it's contagious.

I didn't hear about the flooding over there, but I'm sure J will respond
when she comes around.

They are saying we *may* get snow where I'm at!   (Smack dab in the
middle of the US)  It has to turn cold enough, which they think it
might.  I'm ecstatic! : )  It's probably not going to happen, but it's
nice to dream once in awhile.

Hugs,
Maggie

HI Marg,

OH snow sounds so wonderful. My dream is for the children to wake up xmas
morning with a roaring fire (we have a log burner in the front room as its a
typical french house :0) ) and snow to be falling on the ground. It doesnt
do much for my illness lol.....

My body is never happy it hates the sun (SLE) and it hates the winter
(livido reticularis, now I cant remember the other one lol).

I think i'll package my children over with you if you get snow lol. My 3 1/2
yr old has never seen it apart from a few flakes lol. the last time it
snowed in the town I lived in on xmas day was 1976 lol.

Took rhiannon to the GP yesterday and then 45km to the childrens hospital at
vannes and she has gaestointeritus (sorry spelling not good lol) so we have
to just flush her with water and let her sleep which is what she is wanting
to do anyway.

It was horrible at the hospital because I couldnt understand what they
wanted from me, in the end we realised it was ?20 for her to see the doctor
lol.

How are things with you?

Hi Mel!

I'm so glad Rhiannon didn't have a flu bug or anything.  We immuno
people have it so bad & to have to try & get a bug or virus out of our
homes can be quite awful.

I forgot about you being in a foreign country.  I know you're learning
French, but it must of have been very nerve-racking at the hospital.

I don't know if they're still calling for snow, but it sure was exciting
while it lasted. : )  I hope you get your Christmas wish though.  I'll
let ya know if it snows, but you may need to wait about sending the kids
over until it'll last more than 24 hours on the ground. LOL!

I have been very clumsy over here. I smashed my finger opening the
window.  That's some intense pain when it first happens!  LOL!  And I
have been soo tired, but my nausea is improving, so I'll take tired any
day. : )
