Getting ready for  Thanksgiving  and the arrival of many children and
grandchildren to come and stay for  few days.  Started thinking what I
was really grateful for. Very high on my list is this ASL group.

You have been such  wonderful supportive friends   full of encouragement
and helpful ideas to make lupus more livable . My glass of champagne
will be lifted to you first........Happy thanksgiving day    ruth

I totally agree with you Ruthie.  It is every day that I feel blessed to know you guys and share
with you too.

Enjoy your family and toast one glass for me will you?  My family will partake in a "few" come this
sat. My son and his family will be here already friday night.  With all 3 of my grandkids, which
includes the new twins. I haven't seen them much in the last month so this is a real treat for me.

Then sat is my daughter with her family and 2 more grandkids.  Love it.

HOPE all of you have a wonderful Blessed Thanksgiving and enjoy your time with your family. for
those in Canada, I still wish you the best as well, for I forgot your holiday.  I am sorry about
that.

again God Bless

Thanksgiving is my favorite of all the holidays.  There's no pressure, no
church, and hopefully for all of you, positive family interaction as well.
I am thankful, as I was telling someone else, that I am so much healthier
now. When I was in my 30's I spent many days in bed, many nights awake with
pain, and you all know how that is.  So now, *several* years, and about 12
medications later, I spend maybe one day in bed if I'm bad, and I have the
use of my hands again

I want to dedicate this thanksgiving day to regaining the use of my thumbs!

Okay, there it is.
Health and happiness to all of you

Mair
