Well if it isn't one thing it is another.

Seems my bp problems that have been on going these past months are related to circulation in the
neck. Not he carotid but the major artery that branches into the carotid. Alll blood flow to the
left is reversed, so that shows blockage.

My heart doc who is out of town but was notified by phone says I need an angioplasty and surgeon.
After much nervousness, I see a surgeon already tomorrow in the morning.

Family doc says they may do a MRI with contrast or angiogram with contrast, then if the angiogram
shows it they try to ballon it out. IF it is too big or complicated then surgery will be done a few
days later.
My mom has her stroke at 58 and died at 64.  Dad has heart attack at 52 and well major one to boot,
brother had by pass at 52 I think so would you be worried?  Hell yes.  I have had 5 cardiac caths so
I know what to expect but the thought of clots worries me more.
We will get a verdict in the am.
Prayers please and with cortisone for many years well this will be something else.

hugs to all.

Dear Janers,

The prayers have been offered up.

I am so sorry to hear of this newest tribulation.

Have you been taking BP meds for some time?  Do you think the meds could
be responsible for this new problem?

Please keep us informed of your progress.

God bless!

Pigmet and I are right there with you.  He can go right into the treatment
rooms with you, because no one can see him but you.  But he's there.  As
soon as we read this he said "I'm goin" and that is the last I saw or heard
of him.

Our love to you always,
Mair & Pigmet

What Pigmet said . . .

What meds are you taking for BP & how high is it? Boy, that sucks, mine was
high because of kidney involvement but the cheapest prescription on the
market was the one that worked for me. Any news on the surgeon? Do you have
anti-phospholipid syndrome (aka Hughes syndrome) secondary to lupus?
Sending prayers & healthy thoughts your way . .

Candi

You sure that quake didn't make it worse? Maybe you should think about
moving to corn country . . .
