Have been watching the weather reports, the state of emergencies, flood
warnings for Ohio and other mid west localities.  Sure hope that you are all
alright and have not suffered any damage to self or property!!!!!

Hugs,

Here is Ohio, ok at home but 2 miles down the road into the town we are  near is flooded over
and we can't get into town that way.

We are close to Findlay and only 12 miles from my home town of Ottawa Ohio. That is aweful and
the pics we had in our paper only showed parts of it. My brother was with out electicity there
but it is back on now. Sis's subdivision 2 days ago there was under water. Many basements
flooded.

Young boy fishing on the main highway through town there caught catfish 9 inches long .

Worse flood in Ottawa since the early 1900's.  It is a mess.  SO glad we are all fine around
here and no water for us out in the country.

thanks for thinking of me Sherry

This was on the national news (MSNBC).  I heard Ottawa, Ohio and
Findlay mentioned.  The footage of downtown was impressive, showing
the store fronts in a pond.  I can't imagine cleaning up the mess.  I
sure am glad to be on a mountain, although the businesses in the
valley have had floods in the past few years from creeks.  It is a
good thing we couldn't afford that lovely house by the creek.  ; )

We could use the rain here in Alabama, where the temp should only be
99 degrees today.

Thanks for asking, but we're fine. I'm in Akron, OH, in Summit County, which
is about 30 miles south of Cleveland, & Summit County is called Summit,
well, because it's a summit, very elevated, so we rarely flood. Except for a
bit of water in the basement. Candi

Candi,
Good news that you live on high ground and not in the areas of the flooding.
Heaven knows you have enough going on that you don't need flooding to be
added to the list.

Now, if I would have gotten a map out and checked out where you were instead
of posting Janers would never have learned you were in Ohio too <g>

Yea just a bit of basement flooding here. The streets were flooded
initially but then is not so unusual to see fish on the freeway.
Easier to catch them that way? Cleveland here........thanks for the
thoughts Sherry
