i just had an echo done and had mild tricuspid regurgitation and they
estimated my (systolic) pulmonary artery pressure as being around 27
mmHg. is this considered normal or borderline? everything else was
normal on the echo.
ive heard so many different reference values for a normal systolic
Pulmonary pressure. anything from 15-20 mmHg.. to 20-30 mmHg...

i also have a non-specific connective tissue disease.

im scared to death aboutt his echo reading.

I have PAH. The groups are amazingly supportive. Definately check it
out. You are not the only one with fear. PAH has so much hope.
Medications are amazing too. I'm using o2 and IV Remodulin. I'm on
some orals too.

When I was hospitalised I was properly acessed. W/O treatment I had
about 6 months. With treatment my doctors now expect me to live well
into my 80's. Considering I'm 29, I have alot of life to be thankful
for. Feel free to contact me anytime.
