Doctor found 3 legions and said not to worry, I had a sleep apnea test and
that came out positive.  I have future visits should I be worried about the
legions in my head?  Could I also have MS?

Hello,
A neurologist would interpret your scan result regarding the lesions.

Ask for the apnea test result in writing and pay close attention to the AHI
values.
Apparently below 20 is a grey area (as to whether apnea needs treating).
Above (20) needs machine, mask etc.
If the AHI, right and left are below 20, but the AHI supine, is over 20, you
probably should use the equipment.
Which equipment, I do not know.
You would have to read some on alt.support.sleep-disorder before making
decisions.

Different masks work differently for different people.  Different masks work
differently for different machines.
The mask has to fit your face or air leaks out.
There's cpaps, apaps ( auto adjusting cpaps ), bipaps, (I don't know them all)
There's humidifiers that some need, some need heated humidifiers.
Ask on alt.support.sleep-disorder about each type, what they cost, whether
insurance covers them, what happens if you get one type, but realize later you
need another (etc).
Or ask them who is the best person in your area, to give you advice and assist
on all these issues, on an ongoing basis.

If you're overweight, losing some weight can sometimes help improve the apnea,
but exercise can be hard to do if a person has joint pain and fatigue.  Losing
weight usually involves eating less (lowering the calorie intake) and
increasing exercise (burning off calories).

If you have Lupus, treating the apnea won't solve everything because fatigue
can be a big part of Lupus.
Keep in touch and let the group here know how you're doing.
K?
