The neurosurgeon keeps saying he's doing fine. He has pneumonia which was
expected. He is still on a ventilator but they are talking about weaning him
from it. They aren't saying when; I'm hoping tomorrow. His blood pressure is
very low and they have to get it up to do a MRI on his brain. The pneumonia
is making the BP drop and he never was very high anyway. We know so little
and everything is measured in tiny increments. I have a feeling when they
get the tubes out of his throat and the pneumonia under control we will know
more as he will be able to communicate. I'm so thankful I was here when it
happened. He seems to know us and has done things such as squeeze our hands.
He's such a fighter and he's doing a heck of a job fighting this, too.
Please keep him in your prayers, thoughts, or just send good vibes his way.
He needs another miracle or two to get through this in one piece. They still
have him at a 60% chance of survival.
Thanks
Bev

Bev,
I'm so glad to see you post and to let us all know how George is doing! He
remains in my prayers, my thoughts and good vibes are always on the way to
you both and for you both!
One day at a time! Each new day being better than the day before and soon
an amazing recovery and a return home to his life and the love of his life,
his children and grandchildren!
Hugs,
Sherry
