HELLO EVERYONE PIGMET HERE!
WHAT A TIME WE HAD AND I WILL TELL OF MY ADVENTURES LATER CAUSE MAIR WANTS
TO TALK, OKAY?  O-KAY!

Hello everyone!  I am back with a new computer.  It is a monster...has 1G of
RAM, 150G of hard drive, and runs at 1100MHz!  Wowwie!

Well I went through a case of  bank fraud, where someone was stealing money
from my checking account.  I changed my account number 3 times, and this
person was still following me.  Scary!  So I closed out all of the accounts
and went to a new bank.

Then, the other big thing is that I had major construction to the house.  He
replaced all of the 9 large windows in this house... they were the old
double-hung kind, and were in such condition that they did not open and
close very well.  So he got these windows that are double-paned, and they
have the white barring in between the panes... so it still kinda looks like
the old fashion windows, but are much easier to clean, and they actually
open and close.

The very NICE thing that my landlord did is that he got me windows with Low
Emessivity glass, so that less of the UV rays come in, and I THREW AWAY
those stinky old miniblinds!  Getting those windows in was a lot of work.
They would work late into the evening, and Saturdays into the afternoon,
after which I am sure they needed to kick back with Cervesa and Tequila!
The lead guy was a wirey little snip of a fellow, 5'3"  I like to watch them
work so I would hang around and talk, in my horrible Spanish. He gave me a
straw cowboy hat.  I don't know if that was an initiation or what!  With my
lupus I would fall asleep and when I woke up the guys were all gone.  When I
said that, he laughed and told me they all took picutres of me with my mouth
hanging open. Carumba!

I have a flower garden this year!  I pretty much started from scratch.  I
dug out the horrible soil that is native to this area, and I put in a whole
lot of potting soil.  Then put in herbs and flowers (I have flowers that
smell like CHOCOLATE, I'm not kidding) and rocks and decorative grasses.  It
looks REAL nice.

I will say ADIOS for now, and post agains soon

Mair & Pigmet,

So good to see you back with us.  We sure miss you when you are in silent
mode!

Wow, the new computer and the new windows sound fantastic!

Hope that the new bank solves the problem.  Lots of jerks seem to have found
a way to get the info from your card when you use them at gas pumps and ATM
machines.  Too much technology for me but they have it figured out.  Or
there is the posibility of a dishonest clerk at a store getting the info and
using it.  Sure stinks as they sure as heck might need the money but so do
the people they are stealing it from.  Should be some harsh penalties when
they are caught and maybe they can stop the trend.

Once again glad you are back here with all of us.  Has been pretty silent
here.  Must be fun in the summer stuff happening ( I sure hope so)

Hugs,
Sherry

Yes I did miss you guys so much.  I looked up the dates and it was over two
months that I was gone!  And time before that when I had no checking
accounts and was paying cash for everything!  Really living an
"old-fashioned" life.  No television (by choice), no checking account, no
computer, no credit cards.  Yes, we all used to live this way for the larger
portion of civilized mankind: thatched roofs, dirt floors, straw bedding.

Now coming back to the services I had lost... it makes me feel so grateful.
I went out today and bought tension rods that fit inside the windows, so
that you can see all the lovely fancy molding that has been put around them.

Bank did not solve the problem.  Bank only replaced the lost money through
insurance FDIC.

Yes it is really sickening when I say it outright: someone is stealing money
from a person on SSI, permanently disabled.  That's like cashiers stealing
from blind old people when they go to cash their check.  Someone's gonna get
a heavy karmic slap in the face!

Well I am here now, and of course our favorite little mascot has come with
me.  We will have lots of times with buckets and shovels down by the river,
and any time you want to Maginate, you can be with us too.

I gotta go fix food.

Happy Summer to you!

So good to see you Nephew Pigmet...and Mair too...Sounds like she has been
through a rough patch...glad you were there to see her through it...
I imagine that you had alot to do with digging the new flower garden...You
know how it is...One day you get outside with your buckets and shovels...and
you just can't quit digging...:)
And how smart it is to get flowers that smell like Chocolate...If you smell
it all the time, of course you will have to have some to Eat!!!!
I bet it was quite the adventure living like the olden days...no tv,
computer....
Good to see you back...
Hugs Cindy

Hello my anty Cindy
Yes I was in the gardin.  My specialtiy is churnin up proper soils.  We used
lots of pottin soil, but the natural ground here is packed with clay, rocks,
and lily tubers... so I had to dig it out (and use both my bucket and my
shovel!) and
just throw it away, down to about five inches or so.  Then we put in the new
soil.  We also have some of the same plants in pots, so it sort of
continuates the gardin more farther than just our little strip.  We put
Bloom Food on it yesterday, so can hardly wait to see the effects of that.

Thanks for replyin to the post... you are such a dear friend

love and devotion
