I have just arrived home after my first granddaughter was born on 27/04/07,
she is absolutely adorable, she was 7lb and is called Georgia Elizabeth.  I
am wiped out now after being strong for the nine days I was there, so
tomorrow I sleep!!  Hugs and love to everyone, Janet

Congradulations on the birth of Georgia Elizabeth!  Get some rest and recoop
from the visit!  I bet everyone is just thrilled that she has arrived!

Hugs,
Sherry

A grand-SON !!!!
.... our first and we are excited, happy, joyous, and just overwhelmed with all those emotions and even more!
So much fun and it gives us a new lease on life... a new energy for sure!
It's FUN to even think this little baby is already a new addition to our family tree with his own little personality yet to show up after the babyhood and toddler years and all the fun of watching him grow through those ages and stages!
I was  (and still am) one of those people who loved being a mom and doing all the 'mom things'  and I honestly think that being a grand-mom will be equal to and possibly more fun cause of lack of 'ownership' so to speak ?? lol! JMO but all I've heard is great... any grand moms out there who have their opinion on it, I'd love to hear?...!
hugs, from Shelagh

That is wonderful....I have 7 now... I always say....Grandchildren are why
we don't kill our teenagers...LOL.

I was very fortunate to be in the room with my daughter and then my DIL when
all 7 were born....It is way more fun to watch the birthing process as
opposed to being the one doing the birthing...
And the tears of joy when you see that little one pop out...
