Hey George.
Rit sunguard is a good product, I also use it a lot on my long sleeve shirts.
As far as the 3XL size, my son is that and he gets some of his shirts at Wal mart. Is there
one in Arizona? How about JC Penny? Most all stores here in Ohio carry the Big and Tall guys
clothing any more, just like the woman's 3XL too.
If not do a search on line and see. Sometimes EBaY has long sleeve shirts in your size and used
but are nice clothing as well. Might save you a few bucks too.
There is a BIG and TALL catalog you can order from too. Called that BIG AND TALL for MEN.
good luck.

Thanks Janers,
The problem I have is the "banded bottom" part. I have many regular
shirts, even summer weight, but getting the "banded bottom" helps mask
my suave avocado shape. (G) Jokes aside, one can wear suspenders under
the "banded bottom" types which is much more comfortable than a tight
belt on my achey-breaky lower back. I have some of the guayabera
"Mexican wedding shirts" but they stick out in front like I'm near ready
to deliver! My posture doesn't help. Rather than being stooped I must
lean back in deference to the pain in my back which exaggerates the
maternity look.
Even though we can't control Lupus, it seems somehow to control us,
doesn't it?
Again I thank you for your input.

George, the only answer I have to the banded bottom would be take whatever
regular shirts you have to a cleaners that does alterations. We ordered
some "pit crew" shirts for my son's racing team and thought that they were
banded bottom (square hem, to wear outside) but they were not. Unfortuantly
they charged 6.00 a shirt to hem them.

Sherry

Thanks Sherry,
That is an excellent idea. When you're paying as much as I must for a
shirt, the alteration could be a bargain.
Now to find that seamstress. :>)

Good day all, I wanted to throw my 2 cents worth in. My friend
recently found another site that sells SPF rated clothing. It was
started by a group of skin cancer survivors. Basically it is the
cheapest site I have seen yet.
The link is http://www.sunprotectioncenter.com/
I hope this can be of help to someone,
Steve

Thank you Steve,
I have checked out the site and this may be a possibility. The one
reservation for me is the lack of a pocket. A guy has to have a pocket
for stuff! Hehe
Thanks again,
George
