Hi Family,

This was such a difficult Christmas for me--I basically skipped all of the
holidays from Thanksgiving through New Year's.  I just climbed under my big
rock, and stayed there.  The salamander that was already under the rock, he
finally left, cause I was too "downbeat" for him.

Anyway, yesterday I did the "Cheesy Good Thing" and bought myself a new mug
to replace the old one that broke.  I got one of those spun-steel, insulated
mugs, with a nice big friendly handle and a plastic top that snaps on.  that
plastic top is important, as I am very talented at knocking full cups of
beverage all over my workspace!

Hey!  It's a new year?  I'm glad I didn't totally miss January....

Love,

Mair

Mair,
I'm sorry that you climbed under the rock for the holidays but glad you have
come out to see the rest of Jan.  Sure hope the New Year brings better
health and happiness to your life!!!!

Hugs,
Sherry

I am certifiably crazy.
I see that I have made several posts during the month of January, so
apparently not all of me was under the rock.

Note to self:  Find bigger rock

What about the top of the rock?  Did you spot my
last doctor coiled up on it, sunning himself?

I thought he would have had to retreat to his lair as soon as the sun
rose - after all, vampires and Lupies have photosensitivity in common.

I don't think the doctor was a vampire.  He didn't recognize
blood when he saw it, he had someone else draw my blood for
him, and let's face it, no self-respecting vampire would have
anything to do with him.

But if he were a vampire . . . I can't think of a more fiendish
thing to do to a vampire than strand him in Utah, where it's
nothing but decaf as far as the eye can see.

*I* am a vampire (was, phlebotomist)--I know blood (and even tests!)when I
see it.  I guess since I have lupus, I am also a werewolf.  I guess this
explains why I have been up all night, and now at 5am, am getting ready to
"hit the sack," which is a large soft futon doubled up inside my coffin.

I think your doctor is using my present rock in the daytime when I am
snoozing.... I keep hearing this rattling sound in my sleep that turns my
dreams into Spaghetti Westerns!  But as I said, I'll be looking for a bigger
rock anyway, so he can stay there.

in Utah, though?  I'm not in Utah.  I'm in the People's Republic of Northern
California--A Nuclear Free and Non-Smoking Zone.

Thanks for the fun chat!

A Sleepy Mair...have a nice Saturday morning
[After finishing off a "Blood Lite" she heads to the coffin for sleep]
