Just wanted to say I'm here at my mom's and am busy getting some Christmas
baking done for them (mom and sister) to take with them to Baltimore.  They
are going to spend Christmas with my nephew and his wife since it is the
baby's first Christmas.

Hope everyone is feeling up to the holiday bustle and getting ready to enjoy
their family traditions!

Hugs,
Sherry

Hi Sherry!

I'm glad you made it safely & hope you have a great Christmas!  Don't
eat too many cookies. ;)

Hugs,
Maggie

I just bake and fix the goodies for everyone else.  I lost my sweet tooth
long time ago.  But I do love baking and fixing stuff for everyone else to
enjoy.  Not much chance of my eating too many cookies <g>  Also get to spend
some time with my Mom's Golden Retriever and get him more obiedient.  We
bought him last yr when I was here and he does really well with most comands
but with his size and all we want him a bit more trained and yet remain
good and loving company for her.

Hugs,
Sherry

Sure wish I could lose my sweet tooth; misplace it even.

I wanted a Golden myself, but then I got Lucy (a black lab/sharpei mix)
& I wouldn't trade her for nothing.  I taught Lucy to put her paw up on
her nose when I say "shame on YOU!"  However, it seems like she only
does it when she can smell food in the vicinity.

They've been such great company for me though and I'm glad your Mom has
him to keep her company too.

Hugs,
Maggie  P.S.  Speaking of Golden's....that makes me wonder how BJ is
doing.
Eleanor - 25 Dec 2006 03:26 GMT
Yes, BJ has been very quiet.  I hope and pray that she is doing better than
the last report I heard (long time ago)  Hopefully J has been in contact and
will update us or BJ is lurking!

I have a Choc Lab and the one before him was a Black....I love the Lab
tempermant and the love and loyality they so willingly share...my
granddaughter (son's dog) is a Blue Queensland and they both bring joy to
me.  Mom's Golden is so willing to learn and please....but Mom was never a
very good disipliarian <g> (but Dad was so strict) so her dogs have always
had her number.  LOL

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Hugs,
Sherry
