Thanks for ther websites...a bit overwhelming. But great!
She,my gf,just had an EMG yesterday.God Bless her little heart for going
through that and being so strong...and MS was ruled out.
Shes on Ultram now..and shes afraid of the addiction factor. She at one
time was addicited to Vicodan. We were told that she will need pain meds
for the rest of her life..because of the severe nerve damage.
She hasnt been diagnosed yet until the y get the catscans and urine
samples,blood work,etc
She was on Lyrica before...and was told that is non addictive..but it
didnt completely stop the pain..so maybe up the dosage?
Sorry folks...But this is all new to me...and she goes on in life like
nothings happeneing..which I guess I want her to do...I will educate
my self  and make sure shes doing the right things.shes been through so
much! Did I mention she has a damaged heart and has a defibrillator?
Anwyays  Thanks for the help folks
God Bless~

Welcome 6,

Tell her not to worry about becoming addicted to Ultram.  I've been on
the stuff for years and I still take 2 - 4 per day.  That's never
changed.  It's a good med and I hope it resolves her pain issues.
