It could look to others that we don't celebrate their birthdays because we don't know them and/or this newsgroup could turn into (more) birthday wishes posts than lupus posts. Anyhow, how are you doing? I'm not good at searching as before and I can't find your post about when you are moving and getting married. Did that happen yet and I missed it? I was looking for Lyndal. Her last post was mid-July, after getting out of hospital. I hope she's okay and just busy writing her blog and/or writing curriculum timetables instead. you know me, I worry when someone disappears (ie posts, then doesn't come back). But then the ferrous "dud" posted about 10 times (after her posts) and sometimes that scares people off. <shouldn't - just have to ignore him> Some of the MS posters have lots of fun with his posts, so I read there, for light entertainment, although they do have serious posts as well. Take care of yourself. I'll be lurkliing. hugs J Hi J! I am doing good. I have been back on Imuran for awhile & I'm so glad Medicare covers it now cause the Methotrexate just wasn't doing it for me. I should be out of Kansas City and in TN by the first part of November. We were aiming for October 1st, but that was too stressful. We will marry as soon as I arrive....the following day, rather. I'm moving to a speck on the map compared to here, but they do have a Walgreens. :D Walgreens is a little drugstore here that has FREEbates every month. I can live anywhere, so long as there's a Walgreens. ;) I hope your shoulder is better, J. You're missed around here... Now I won't have an excuse for asking again. :) If you're in a speck, I wonder what I'm living in..<rhetorical> No drugstore at all. > I hope your shoulder is better, J. You're missed around here... It's a long story along with my elbows. Went for surgery consult for both, in March. he sent me for MRI - August. Then followup, found 4 things wrong with my shoulder but didn't have much time to discuss surgery (except he books them 6 months ahead). He gave me 6 seeroid shots to right elbow and 2 to left. Right elbow pain barely improved. Left elbow pain worse. There's a big lump right where he gave me one injection the size of cherry tomato and I can't get to see him until October. His nurse/receptionist said she's never heard of that happening before, so doesn't know what it is. It's hard as a rock (not fluid) so I don't have a clue what's wrong there. Meantime, it turned cold here a few nights ago and I woke up with severe spine pain (assuming arthritis flare) and left hip. Can't put weight on left foot/leg without a lot of pain. And if I move my neck, turn neck, or raise my head, or cough or yawn, my spine hurts like h*ck! Heat doesn't help the spine, ice doesn't help it, pills down't help it. Moving in warm sun seems to help, but warm sun is going away for winter, now. I hate whining here, because so many have bigger troubles. my name is 'if it's not one thing it's another and can't get one thing solved before other things kick in" or phooey (for short). :) Hugs Maggie, back to lurkdom I go J <snip> He gave me 6 seeroid shots to > right elbow and 2 to left.
