I called tonight and talked to her husband. She's gone through surgery;
everything went well. She's home and she's feeling no pain tonight as she is
still numb from the surgery.  She's sleeping. She's got pain meds available
when she needs them. Hubby is doing a good job babying her and her sister
stopped by to check on both of them. LOL I'm going to call again tomorrow
night.

Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

I talked to Janers tonight. She's on a some pain meds and definitely knows
she has a foot! Hubby got he crutches out for her so she can hobble around
on them. She's only supposed to be walking to the bathroom - the rest of the
time she's supposed to be resting with her for up and iced. She's being good
but she does hurt.

They shot her full of cortisone for the surgery and that has caused a
headache. She was also way too aware of the surgery. She told them once they
just cut her foot from right to left! Uh-oh! Bam, she was out again!

I'm hoping tomorrow will go better for her.

Thanks Bev!  Let her know that she is in my thoughts and prayers.

I don't care what anyone says but when they are doing surgery on joints and
bones it hurts like the dickens.  I'd have my tummy cut open for surgery
before I ever had anymore surgery on my knee!  Well, I'd prefer it anyways.
<g>  But no more knee surgery till I can't walk thats for sure.

Just a quick call tonight. She's still in a lot of pain and was going to go
to bed early.

Thank you Bev!  What would we do without your being able to call people and
give us updates on how they are doing?

Hugs,
Sherry
