I know most of the posters here don't have this form but, maybe someone
has come across somthing somewhere.
I am sick of my skin (literally)I would like my face back.I know I'm
lucky not to have any organ involvement. Just what i call
pre-arthritis , muscle aches and some digestion problems. Still, this
thing is not nice at all ,I can't count the # of times
I've been asked whats with my skin GRR!
Even though I am often told I am still beautiful by men (including
hubby)I feel
like something has been taken from me.
Anyway ,enuff whining.
                   hope this finds you well,

I think you'd have to ask a plastic surgeon. I know discoid leaves terrible
scars. I would think the scaring could be at least made less noticeable but
at what cost to you physically? There is also special makeup that can be
used to cover scaring but I have no idea the brand name or where you would
buy it. It might be worth a visit to a plastic surgeon just to see what the
surgeon says. The way we look or the way we perceive our looks has a whole
lot to do with how we feel about ourselves. But I know of nothing that will
stop the discoid lupus from happening.
