Hello Again,

Just want to give an update on the infection.  It is clearing up
pretty good.  I still have a good size spot of it, but not nearly as
large or as red as it was.  The swelling in the leg and foot haven't
gone away, not that I thought it would.  I've been taking the
Gabapentin, 2 300 mg at night, and it has done wonders for the muscle
spasms and pain.  I take it only at night because it seems to make me
a bit loopy!  I haven't slept this good in years!  I have to be ready
for bed any where from 30 -45 minutes of taking it, otherwise I may
sleep where I sit!   Without the constant pain and mucsle ache I am in
better spirits and can seem to focus on things better.

I hope every one out there has a Happy and Safe Independence Day!

That is good news on being able to sleep better than you have in years and
that your leg is healing.  Glad to hear that you are in better spirits and
focusing better!!!   When the Lupus is under control life can be normal or
darn near it.

Hugs,
Sherry

That is just wonderful for you Marie!
I am so happy the neurontin is working for you as well as it works for my MOTH;  I suspected it would work for you as well and am so glad it has!
Keep those jammies next to that pill bottle <or visa versa LOL>
and I wish you many more sleepfilled nights!!
Sherry said it all with her comments about lupus, sleep and normalcy!!
Sleep is just so under-rated!
Especially when mixed with pain!

BTW  we have had a few newcomers sign in on our 'group map' on my lupus site during the past week..... 3 I believe,  including Michael R. who has finally caved in and let us know where he is at <g>!
