I just had to let you all know, we had a lovely day out yesterday at our
Norfolk Lupus group Strawberry Tea, it was a great pleasure to meet all the
people there, it was just a pity I had got myself so worked up about going,
that I ended up making myself very sick. Everyone there was so
understanding, as they said they have all experienced that so not to worry.
Of Course I did anyway. LOL What are we like hey? I can't wait to see
everyone again, which hopefully will be a week on Friday at their next open
access meeting.

I am happy for you that you did go to the tea!
I too am a member of our local lupus support group and they also are all a wonderful group to meet with, monthly at a nearby restaurant, different every time which is a change, and for a lunch meeting where we all take turns 'sharing' our 'illness' if we so choose; it is interesting to hear others express similar complaints and symptoms that I have had and to discover different methods of handling the same old same old!
Good for you Janet... I think everyone should be able to meet up face to face with like people as it sure helps me get through another month when I do... last Monday was my CGT in that we met and just 1 km. away down where we keep our boat at the marina there is a hotel and nice restaurant/pub with deck tables and shade with a beautiful view looking out to sea from the cove and hearing the sea lions barking from the rocky winchelsea islands just out front of our house up the street!
Thanks for sharing with us, and I hope you get to go again next Friday!
hugs,
Shelagh
