What Janers said!

Hi guys, thanks for asking. I went to a new doc yesterday, actually a free
clinic, & they were wonderful! I'm uninsurable since Cobra ran out. Anyway,
they did blood tests for, uh, duh, kidney problems. I can't believe the doc
I have been going to for 20+ years didn't do that even tho I requested it. I
even almost married the guy & he knows I avoid docs like lice & do NOT go
unless I really feel it's necessary. So now I've just gotta wait for the
results. The swelling is a lot better & BP is down (from 167/142 to 155/125)
so maybe the Norvasc is working. A bit.

Candi, good to hear that you went to see a new doctor and that you had a
good experience with them.
Lots of young, good, and "new" doctors are working in clinics that are low
cost and or free. Many of them are doing so because they signed a contract
to work X amount of years and they get their school loans (usually
astronomical) paid, forgiven, or greatly reduced! So everyone wins! The
doctors and the areas that they "serve".
Are you on disibility? (my brain can't remember) If on SS disibility
isn't "medicare" insurance part of it?
Hugs,
Sherry

Hi Candi
the norvasc is not working enough. It is down a little but surely you need
to call the doc or clinic and tell them about this. that is way to high
When will you know about the kindy tests??
hope you keep in touch and keep my informed. I am very concerned here for
you. Something ain't right in Bowenville...heheh Little joke for the day

How long have you been on Norvasc? How much are you taking? Doc told me to
take mine at night so I don't get quite so dizzy on it. It took me a while
to get used to it and it has kept my BP down (105/72) except when I get
really stressed and then it zooms up (140/90) until I calm down.
