Long time dear people.....
I see a few familiar names as I scroll through the posts. (((J))) &
(((all))), I sure thought about you all a lot, but I couldn't figure out
how to get here from my computer. I hooked my webtv back up (was on the
msn all in one plan) to post and willingly admit that I shoulda been
paying attention when J or Kcat gave advice on how to get here from
Outlook Express.
I made it to Outlook Express, but when it asked what newsreader I'd be
using, I started making stuff up. :-Þ
Would someone email me at maggitty@msn.com and get me on track, please?
Sure hope everyone is doing alright. I didn't see BJ or Mair or Bev or
Bruce. Or, or, or....Pigmet (sniff).
As for me, I got a diagnosis last October. They say I have 2 AI
diseases and one is Psoriatic Arthritis. The other stays a mystery.
I'm back on Imuran & I'm so glad. It works so much better for me, even
though I know what I'm chancing by taking it (I don't see Grace's name
anywhere either).
I am getting married soon and moving to Tennessee. I met a great guy in
Christian chat and we've been corresponding for a year. He's been here
and I've been there and he's just one (and the best) of Gods' blessings
given to me these past 2 years.
I hope to hear from someone soon. Love to you all...

Welcome back Maggie and congradulations on the upcoming marriage!!!
I can't help on the how to get back here...but wanted to post and say hi. I
can't figure out how to read the group (without using Outlook) since I
switched to SBC DSL...
If no one gets back to you call your provider (support) and ask them to help
you get the newsgroup.
Everyone seems to be popping in and out...Grace had been really ill and I
haven't heard anything in a long time on how she was doing, BJ has not been
real well and checks in when she can....Bev is here frequently but not as
much lately, It has also been sometime since Mair and Pigmet have posted.
Kcat seems to be on an extended leave...it has been a while since Bruce
posted but someone just updated everyone on his where-a-bouts not long ago
(but my brain doesn't remember the details)
Once again welcome back and I hope someone can help you get it figured out
so you will be back with us regularly!
Hugs,
Sherry

Thanks Sherry! And thanks for the update on everyone. You left
yourself out though. :P Last I remember your neighbor was staying
with you after his mother passed away and he was very ill. How are
things going for you?
Hugs,
Maggie

Thanks for asking Maggie. Things are always about the same here with us.
Our neighbor did move to Oregon as he thought the weather would be better
for him....I was ready as it was getting to be too much for me....I just
haven't figured out how to say NO. Or when I say it no one believes I mean
it.
Glad you found your way back and will stick around.
Hugs,
Sherry

Outlook Express is for email and a newsreader.
It's on your computer, so I sent you the instructions to access newsgroups
with it and how to munge your email address.
> Would someone email me at maggitty@msn.com and get me on track, please?
I don't know if it's because you're using MSN or if you simply need a tour
and/or adjusting of software on your computer.
You would need someone computer-savvy right there with you.
With some of the newer systems the desktop is merged with the internet.
Windows XP can be turned back to the old way.
It takes a while to learn new software.
Your software programs should be available by clicking on Windows Start at
the lower left of the monitor.
Start,
Programs,
Microsoft,
Outlook Express.
I have shortcuts to my programs on my desktop, so when I power up, all I
have to do is click on the one (or ones) that I want to start up.

The (in)famous Active Desktop...

Start ControlPanel Display Themes then under Theme click Windows
Classic.

Thanks Andy, I never remember the name of it.
I whipped that out of there.

I was using "AOL" as a short-hand way of saying "me too" - it being
alleged that 90% of posts in AOL chat groups consist only of "me too" :)

Thanks for trying, J! When I followed those instructions and left the
box blank, it wouldn't let me continue. Since I won't be keeping this
email addy very much longer, I'll Google. I just can't make myself use
the webtv much anymore.

Hi Maggie I missed you and worried about you when email to you started
bouncing back at me.
Congratulations on the upcoming marriage. That is just wonderful!
Bruce moved way above Toronto and apparently is having a wonderful time in
his new surroundings.

(((((((((Bev))))))))))
I'm sorry. And I saw several emails from you the other day that never
got opened too. It was the multiple window thing that did it, ya know.
The computer is great!
And I told you that when I did get one, I'd be using your photos for
wallpaper. :D You take such great pics!
Love and Hugs,
Maggie
