I went to the rheumatologist today and she thinks my increased pain is
from the inflammation and or pleurisy.  I don't know why it is getting
worse :( .  I am going for blood work tomorrow and a chest x-ray to make
sure that the fluid is not coming back around my lung or heart.  She
also decided to increase my prednisone to 30 mg (from 20 mg).  Hopefully
that with the increased hydromorphone will get me through this flare.
Originally she was considering naprasyn (sp), but decided not to because
I am on coumadin.

Thanks to everyone that has provided me support through this.

Hello Nutty,
It's reassuring she's double-checking things by ordering the tests.
I am pleased to read that medication changes have been made and do hope you
feel some pain relief soon.
Sending caring thoughts,
Hugs
J
