ok, I been home awhile, like 2 weeks but honestly, there is and was too
much going on in our lives.

We had a fairly nice trip, if you call hubby in ER for bacterial infection.
He was ill for over 4 weeks and finally by Feb he was doing better.  I did
not like that hospital we went to but you all know how that goes.

Then of course we had problems at the park we stayed at and after weeks of
yelling, threatening with the word EPA, well they moved us to a better
site. NONE that smelled but one that you wake up to trucks motoring down a
high way at " 5:15Am. every morning.  Hearing downshifts, and motors
revving all the time was more than we could take sometimes.  Weekend of
course there was motorcycles.  LOTS of them.  So we got another park for
next year and NOT staying at that one .....This my friends is the short
version of what happened there...ehhee.

I of course then got sick, had a shot of medrol 80 in my right hip before
we left but it didn't do squat.  I usually feel energetic but for some
reason that didn't do zip.  Come feb, I had blood work and my joint pain a
cometh, along with pain all over.  Blood work was 50 plus sed rate with LOW
white and low red cells.  so of course my rheumy called me and upped my
oral medrol double dose for a month.  That is all I need for a moon face as
well as MOON butt :))  but that didn't help much either. I am still having
lots of joint pain.
We did enjoy the busch gardens and listened to lots of swing music as well
as saw the Irish dancers there.  OH my good ice cream too. did I tell ya
that??  I am sure that didn't help my MOON ....!!

Got home with still a lot of pain but blood work NOW looks good and my
medrol is lower but just lately....I am also on Naprelan but was suppose to
take it twice a day??  NO way, it makes my gut burn, and well I am not
having back pain as well as leg cramps. I am wondering if the later is from
that. I cut the dose down but...... who knows.

Kids all came to see Maw maw and the grand babies are growing big time.
The older one is a gem of course and is singing in competition and got the
highest rating...so she is happy. Of course she is still making
quilts....awesome.

that is my update, so I will keep checking up on you guys now that I am
home.

Got a new chat this wed night at 9pm est. Anyone want to join us??? Let me
know privately.  lupus or auto immune what ever....

Take care and good to be home again.
NO I didn't get a lot of sun. The weather was COLD down there this year.
LOL. Plus my new shirt from Coolibar made my day nice.

Janers,
Glad you're back. Noticed the oneliner about the Coolibar shirt. Which
one did you get, and how do you like it? How does it compare to
SunPrecautions, if you've had one of those? I'm asking because I'm in the
market for a new shirt and $ is limited, as usual! I think I'll also get a
sarong or scarf square to use as a lap cover in the car.
Thanks,
