A programme "Our lives in their hands - living with Lupus" is scheduled
for 9-9:30pm (UK time ie GMT) on BBC Radio 4 on Wednesday 15th Feb (it
may be part 1 of 2).

Those not in the UK can probably get it through the Internet - or dig
that antique receiver out of the junk pile and listen on Long Wave :)

Or go to

scroll down to "Our Lives In Our Hands," and click
on "Listen" for the recorded show.

Don't forget Part 2, scheduled for the same time next week.

Thanks you both.
First I had to download and install a newer version (but free it said) of
Real Player.
That was interesting, although I don't think I heard the whole thing, so
I'll have to relisten.

I am told that the "audience help line" was geared up to provide phone
numbers etc for those seeking further information. The most useful of
these (if you are in the UK!) will probably be the National Office of
Lupus UK: and it is

       01708 731 251

Their web site is www.lupusuk.com

For those in other parts of Europe, try the European Lupus Foundation on

       www.elef.rheumanet.org

All of these (also www.northeastlupus.org.uk) provide information and
general advice, but not specific medical advice for individual cases.

I have discovered that I was misinformed, or had misunderstood: part 2
is on asthma, not lupus.
