Hi Everyone,

I talked with Michael last night, and he seems to be back to his old salty
self.  He has such a buoyant constitution, and is bearing this all
incredibly well.  They told him yesterday that they would release him today,
but you know how that goes...

Thanks everyone for your support

HI Ruth!

I havent' heard from you in a long time.  I hope you are doing well.

Michael came home from the hospital today, and his son is there with him.
This was not one of his respiratory-induced hospitalizations.  He had back
surgery.  Already he seems to feel that the pain from the nerve entrapment
(is there anyone on this list who has not had nerve entrapment at one point
or another?) is gone, and now the pain he is having is mostly from the
surgery.  I'll talk to him again tomorrow.  It's hard on a big guy, being
cooped up and sick like he is.  [I'm real little, so I can still do pole
vaults when I am cooped up]

Everyone stay well, or get well soon

Sending hugs to Michael,
I'm glad he's got his son there to look after him.
