Hello there.

I've had a recent diagosis of lupus nephritis (as of late June) but I
now recognize that I have been having symptons for about 6 years.

I'm receiving monthly Cytoxin (sp?) IV treatment (only two treatments
left!) but am starting CellCept in January.  Additionally, I'm on 20 mg
of prednisone.

I'm a bit tongue-tied right now, but I look forward to sharing
information and expierences with the group.

Welcome to this group!
I do hope your renal problems clear up asap and that your cellcept does the
trick!
When you are ready to share all kinds of responses will come your way;
just feel free to open up and ask anything and you will get all kinds of

Best wishes and Happy Holidays!

Hello Dodie and welcome.
Frustrating having symptoms for so long without having answers eh?
My friend, who doesn't post much anymore, pretty well knew she had lupus
maybe 20 years before she was diagnosed. It was so obvious to her, but it
took that long for a diagnosis. She's got a milder version, so major organ
involvement so far.

This is a pretty quiet and relaxed newsgroup.
People come and go, some vent, some ask questions, some even post their
CGTs
(cheesy good things /news)

Some lurk (read) and don't always post.
Some take breaks and come back and can't catch up on all the news (posts
they missed), so once in a while I run a roll call so everyone can get
caught up with what's new for each, so I hope you'll join in, one way or
another.

Good luck with your treatment plan and I hope you'll get un tongue-tied
soon so we can get to know you better.
Hugs

Hi, I'm one of those who are in and out of here when I have the time. I
think I'm pretty mild when it comes to lupus - I have to be careful but I
have my good days and my lousy days. Most of the time I just muddle through.
Welcome to the group.
