Thank you and I will enjoy the time with my daughter she is 16 and is
really growing up fast. she has down the natural trim down over the last
6 months my Hubby and I have both noticed it at the same time and how
grown up she has become not so many teen tirades and rollercoaster
rides. I love when she is on breaks from school we really have fun
together. I treasure it.

I'm so far behind reading - thank goodness it is slow out here.
My hubby is having his colonoscopy in the 9th of Jan - I think. LOL Just
routine. They say the worst is the prep the night before. UGH! Our oldest
daughter had one last week - she felt rotten afterwards but then came down
with a UTI. I think it had something to do with the colonscopy. Her labs
were fine but they didn't find the cause for her intestinal problems. At
least they aren't saying Crohnes (sp?).
The question is how is your hubby feeling and how's he feeling about going
through all of this?
Aren't you supposed to be moving or did the hurricane nix those plans? I
know Kcat moved but I thought you were going to be building a house too.
I heard that it's been cold and it did a number on several towns in TX; they
lost power and water because of the severe cold. It's been colder than
normal here. We went from a warm fall to January weather and the leaves were
still on the trees. At least it feels like Xmas - we just need some snow!
LOL
You've got a very special daughter! Everybody needs a daughter like her.
Take it easy and let her do most of the cooking just supervise. Point and
tell her. It's a great experience for her and look at all she is learning to
do. My youngest daughter actually called me on the phone one day and asked
me how long to broil a steak. Hmm, I guess steaks haven't been in her
budget. She also asked me how long to boil eggs to make egg salad. I promise
you I did teach her to cook. LOL

Bev, I still call my mom when I am hungry for something that she used to
cook when I was growing up and want a reminder on how to fix, how long to
cook and at what temp! I did lots of the cooking when I was still in high
school and she was working....the first one home cooked and the cook didn't
have to do the dishes. Needless to say I made sure I was first home and
cooking as I hate to wash dishes. <g>
