Grace and I spoke at length on the phone and she is sounding upbeat
considering that she is still needing her O2 and lots of rest at this time;
there has been some talk of a double lung transplant but Grace doesn't want
to have to 'go there' as it involves taking her away from her family, (as it
can only be done in Edmonton), for over 6 months including the pre-op
therapy and the post-op rehab.
Her husband is still undergoing treatments for cancer and so neither of them
have a lot of strength to borrow from obviously.
She is still writing and last summer won the golden eagle book award for her
children's book called 'A hole in the hedge'.
Grace is so very proud of her son Adam, now 5 years old, who is growing and
learning quickly with his special needs issues and is doing very well in
kindergarten.
I ask all of you to send both her and her husband prayers for their health
and for Adam too, that he will continue on with his excellent rate of
development.

Ah, Grace, if you're sill writing, hopefully you're lurking. I am soooo
sorry for what's going on in your lives & I've been sending prayers your way
for a very long time. My husband even knows who you are! You've got a lot
more fortitude than me, girl. I haven't finished my YA book yet. Candi
