The submental gland is the one under your chin.
The gland swelled up tremendously in one day.. went to the doctor and he
said it's very unusual to see this gland swollen like this.  The glands
(nodes) in my neck are normally swollen but never this one.
I'm on a week of Keflex 500mg tid.

I'm not having any other problems.... that I can tell are different from the
normal crap.

Anyone else have this?

Could it be the submaxillary salivary gland? If you have Sjogrens these
glands can give problems.

My apologies to him - I have just looked up an anatomy textbook I have,
and you do indeed have a submental gland! It is a lymph gland, located
towards the front of the underneath of your chin.
