IN a turnmoil.  No metho injections to be found anywhere, near where I live
in Ohio.  We called all over and this drug is my hope to control lupus and
pain from joints.

Anyone? ideas here on where to call?

Pharmacist told me that they quit making it and never will again.  DUH

thanks much

I took methotrexate orally; wasn't given an option for IM or IV....
is there a problem with your taking it orally    - ie: your GI tract?

I called my friend that works at a pharmacy here in OK and they said that
they can not get it anymore and that it is only given at the drs office now.
She said that they used to be able to get it but have not since November. I
wonder if the company only going to supply drs offices with it instead of
patients?
I hope this helps you a bit.

I am taking it by mouth right now and that seems to work fine for me.
Sometimes you need to split up the dose if it upsets your stomach.  I took
it this same way about 10 years ago, and it really helped with the same
symptoms you have mentioned, and I was able to get off prednisone
altogether.

The best of success to you,

Mair, Pigmet and the whole gang
