The subject line says it all.
My face is itching all over again.  The doxycline can cause lupus to flare
and I think it has... I've never had a problem before.

I'm so sick and tired of this crap.  Why can't someone make it stop?

Nicole,
So sorry that you are having problems.  My husband managed to get an
infection in his knee.  First line of treatment antibiotics...seemed to have
cleared but has come back.  So the Dr says that there is an infection that
is pretty smart and "changes" when attacked by one antibiotic....so he now
has him on two different ones.  I'm afraid that I can't remember what he
called it.  He also did a culture but started the drugs too!

Are you sure it is staph?  Just curious cause you live down the Hwy a bit
from me but if some antibiotic resistent strain of virus is in this area it
might be in yours.

Hugs,
Sherry

PS he goes back to Dr on Wed (23rd) so will write the names down.

Sounds like there's some bad staph your way.
I finished my Doxicyclin and so far, so good.  Just waiting for the bumps to
go away.  My face looked horrible... like I had acne but it was all staph.
They're going down but not fast enough.  LOL
I'm in CA btw.

Nicole,
You are down the Hwy about 90 miles or so from my location in CA.

They have Mike on Rifadin and Septra DS.  I have him eating yogurt as after
several days of the drug his mouth started getting sore!  Boy do I know how
the sore mouth and antibiotics work.

Hope that the bumps go away very quickly for you!

Hugs,
Sherry
