Hi guys,just checking in,it's been a while.
Feeling slightly more human after a really bad xmas and new year; total
exhaustion from work, the flu and really really low. After blubbering all
over my GP at the end of December he started me on Cipralex, apart from the
nausea I don't feel quite as pathetic or 'mad' as I did before; I've never
not been in control before and the feeling was terrifying. Fancy, a
palliative care nurse on anti-depressants!!
Rob, my better half, is also on the mend, he starts cognitive behavioural
therapy on 15th February, he's back at work now and things are slowly
getting back to normal (whatever that is!).
I went for a 'girlie day' shopping yesterday with my 11 year old daughter
Robyn, spent far too much money in the sales but it was nice to get out,
kids have been put through the mill abit over the past few months.
Anyway, that's enough for now, I'll try to post more often now I'm feeling
better,

Deb, I'm glad to hear that things seem to be looking up for you and your
husband. I hope that they continue to improve daily.
Hugs,
Sherry

I think you'll find most of this group on something. It's a real problem
with lupus. A small amount of something just might make all the difference
in the world for you.
Around here we call those days Mommy Days or in my case, now, Grandma
Days!We were planning one for this Thursday but the snow made the kids have
school on Thursday instead of being off for teacher work day. Those days are
worth everything as they are memory making days.
