Do those 'vermin' really have nothing better to do with their time than send
out annoying and time consuming viruses/worms etc!!?
I honestly believe they live at the bottom of the ditch under the garbage,
lower than the lowest and should drag themselve up once in awhile to see how
'real' people live and the light of day!!
yes, they clogged me too and it makes me so angry!!
crashed my computer to top it off.......
(taking deep breaths to calm down now)
hugs from Shelagh
wishing you all Happy Holidays btw!!

Apparently not :(

Well, the last lot I got was 3 megabytes in total. If you have a limit
on email storage space that'll crash it. I also resent having to pay for
this crap: my downloading is pay-by-the-minute.

Andy, you need to get something like Magic Mail Monitor, Poptray or Pop
Peeper that allows you to view the mail headers and delete the spam without
downloading it.

Ta. Thing is, by the time I get round to it the current outbreak will
have died down. Then just when I think all is well the next lot starts.
Such is life ;)

Hi Bev, Saw your message on Friday but was on my way out with Linda and
others. We were celebrating our 25th that was on the 9th. We had 21 people
out to dinner and Greek dancing to live music. Had a wonderful time. Family
was down from Washington for a concert put on by my niece yesterday. This
was her final exam at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Linda can't begin to keep up with me anymore (boo), but she does what she
can. She is now dealing with gout. She can handle square dancing but 15
minutes of the folk dancing is about the max now. For now the weekend walks
have stopped but we hope to get started with them again very soon.
Had a good visit with my mother. She spent 2 nights here. It is now time to
take her to the airport.
Hope that boiler of yours is still chugging along.

Old boiler still working - knock on wood. We have been using the new gas
pack for heat. I'm not sure if that has something to do with why I'm so
clogged up. The AC unit (gas pack) quit on us this summer so we had to
replace it. Now we have this new 12 seer high efficiency gas pack. Made a
big difference on the AC/electric bill. Hoping it makes a big difference on
the heating bill. But I've felt to stuffy I'm seriously thinking about
switching over to the old boiler. Maybe if I'm not blowing around a bunch of
air I won't be so snuffly.
You must be very proud of your neice. Wish I could have listened in on her
concert. Did she play at the concert, direct, arrange or produce?
Wow! You guys know how to throw a party!! 25 years - Congratulations!!!
Hope you have another 25 plus to go!

It is possible so why not give it a try. The energy savings in heating will
most likely not be like that in cooling.

Myra plays cello, I guess for this one you could say she directed and
produced as well. For about half of the 1-1/2 hour concert she had piano
accompaniment.

Can't throw a party like that very often, would throw a monkey wrench into
the budget big time LOL. So do we!! (have that hope). And thanks.

Web clogging virus? Check for spyware on the computers. BUT not all
spyware is good and often spyware IS spyware.
I picked up a great freeware program that does a terrific job of cleaning
out spyware. It is from Sweden. Called Ad-Aware SE Personal. They charge
for the professional version but the personal one is free. It took me near
forever to find a program which cleans like it does. Another tip one might
need to clean the spyware off their machine is if thier machine has slowed
down a lot more.
The garbage emails use tracking devices too.
Pains in the butt!
Always,

Yup, it's good. The current program version is 1.05, and the
"definitions file" is updated frequently and downloadable by a link on
the main screen. Don't download a program update by mistake!
