New wrinkle, yep!!! Went to the doctor's office and brought my book with me
filled with weeks and month's of BP readings. I told the nurse my BP is
still high. She did my BP and said "no, it's low". I handed her my cuff and
she took it again - it was high. She said your cuff is too old and walked
out. Doc comes in and he retakes it with the office equipment and then with
mine. He said he could hear my cuff and it was leaking. Told me to get a new
one. So now I have a digital, electronic thing I can do myself without help.
Guess what??? my BP is wayyyyy low. Maybe that is why I'm so dizzy
lately????
I go back Wed AM for fasting blood work. I guess I'll see the doc again
probably in the hallways but my new low BP is somewhat of a concern. He'll
chat with me in the hallway - he's a sweetheart!! Wait until he hears how
low I am!! How about 84/ 68? (I'm real fond of the 104/63.) Sure beats the
135 over 100 with my old cuff. Hmmm, how low is too low??? I need my doc to
answer to that question.
Now if some of these little aches and pains would just go away!

Hi Bev -
That sounds pretty low to me -- the 84/68. When mine dips that low I begin
to feel awful. Are they adjusting your meds at all or did they say it was
okay?
Keep us posted. I hope your aches and pains go away too! I want everyone's
pain to GO AWAY!!! Here's to dreaming, right? Hang in there.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

Oh my! That is low. No wonder you've been dizzy.
I was told to increase my salt intake to raise my pressure... I'm on a few
meds that "raise" bp but I'm still not "normal"
I'm about 100/70

And what did I say ... ? Am I good or what?

I'm usually 80/40 when they can get a reading (sometimes it's too low to
read, even manually); my doc says he'd like to see me in "the three
digit range" but given the state of my kidneys (bad) I'm willing to live
with the syncope if it'll help postpone dialysis and he's willing for me
to stay as low as I am - your mileage may vary.
Though I'd guess that your meds may may need to be adjusted.
