I have a similar problem... I just can't take warm weather; also I don't
respond well to heating pads. I have Hashimoto's (autoimmune thyroiditis)
along with lupus, which can make the sufferer intolerant of heat or cold. I
do much better in cold weather. I become exhausted easily anyway, and I do
find that yes, for me, it is part of the lupus. And getting out of the heat
is not only helpful, but necessary.

I have a low thyroid (have had most of my life). I take my medicine
faithfully.
I'll be glad when the humidity is gone.
Jeanne is supposed to skirt offshore Delaware, New Jersey (where I am)
and New York.
It's not usually this humid this late. It's not usually this humid,
period. Gads, I feel like I'm back in Missouri!

Hello Boo, I have Hashi's too and Raynaud's . I usually prefer heat, but last
week (or so), I crashed from the heat for a day or so. The cold is very damp
here and it hurts my bones (osteoarthritis), and flares the fibromyalgia too.
I only like cold and snow around Christmas time, then I prefer that it skips
right to Spring :-)
