Morning Bruce :))) Good to see ya !
Hopefully not, but maybe you're right.

Not sure what points. Some of these I've seen on newsgroups
There's a claim that they "bent the rules" when producing study results as to GI
bleeding or other.
I also saw mention of heart and kidney (so I'll let you pick through these)

If none of this is what you're looking for, you'll have to be more specific
and/or I'll have to think on how to search it better.

Yep, well, the only bridge I want to see her under, is in Venice, with XXX and
the boat paddler serenading them. :-))

Hi Brucie BG>
There is a new thing now, the vioxx is helping to attribute to MORE
problems with Congestive heart failure. Celebrex does not but it still
does come with a warning that is causes bleeding ulcerations of stomach.
LIKE all NSAIDS. so if you weigh the options, like I am.
I use the celebrex myself. If you have some kind of allergic reaction to
sulfa, well the say you can't take celebrex either, but some do. figure
that one out. Has to do with chemical makeup of the drug.
They all mess with the gut, believe me. SO if Marsha doesn't have to take
it all the time, then that is better too.
YOU behaving?
me who else

Raising a Cautionary Flag About COX-2 Use in High-Risk Heart Patients: Eric J.
Topol, M.D., and Steven E. Nissen, M.D., Chairman and Vice-Chairman of
cardiovascular medicine at The Cleveland Clinic, performed a retrospective
review of the original data submitted to the FDA in the randomized multicenter
safety trials of rofecoxib (Vioxx) and Celecoxib (Celebrex). They found
physicians should use caution when prescribing COX-2 inhibitors to patients
with known coronary disease since these anti-inflammatory agents may lead to
an increase in risk of heart attack and stroke.
(I guess someone would have to get the study to find out more details

Too funny! It's gotta be about the Simpson's cartoon, I think. But
that's Marge Simpson, not Maggie. I dunno...I was too scared to click
it on! @¿@
Oh & that's 2 strikes, Brucie! LOL!
