Grace Casselman - 01 Jul 2004 19:52 GMT Hi guys!
I was on a TV news program AND in the paper in Calgary in the same week! I feel really good about having got those done. I was nervous of coughing with the live TV appearance! I didn't!
If anyone's curious, here's the article: http://www.canada.com/calgary/calgaryherald/news/story.html?id=b0bf0522-00b8-4d2 c-811a-686e871db514
By the way, I finished a Notable in that award.
So that's all good, I won't even talk about my health today...
Fondly, Grace.
RhondaM - 01 Jul 2004 19:59 GMT That is so cool Grace. I like those socks... I ought to see if they have your book here locally.

Grace Casselman - 02 Jul 2004 00:23 GMT > Thanks Janers and everybody. Honestly, it's believing that there's a God who cares that helps me keep going. Also, my dear little son who needs me. And some family and friends who have been so kind and loving that it's so humbling I could cry.
Grace.

You truly are an inspiration. I think I will go buy your book too - I mentor a teenage girl myself and I think she could use it. Is it available on Amazon?

The holiday was quite nice; I could have stayed away longer!
I feel quite good; almost no coughing and I think lung function may have improved.
I am concerned, approaching my Aug. 7 MRI, about numbness and tingling in my left foot. However, I also have some tingling in my right fingers and lips.
I want friends and family to pray for the MRI to show no tumors left. I very much want to get on with life. I can accept the tingling as a late chemo side-effect, which is a possibility.
I am unhappy with my left-sided mobility, but I don't think it's worse...I took my son to a park yesterday, about 3 blocks away. I felt physically tired at the end, but my lungs were okay. (Remember, I was on oxygen a month ago....)
I feel a bit stronger... I have places to go, things to do...but we're trusting and thanking God, one day at a time...
Grace.
Sherry - 22 Jul 2004 19:51 GMT Grace, Prayers and good vibes for a neg MRI on the 7th heading your way from central California.
