No, I was wondering because you are pretty good at research. I research
professionally ( business') only and I just thought you were pretty good at
what you do.
I am so sorry about your knee pain. I was looking in the cancer newsgroup
and saw you there and I thought "man she's good at research". I have a Grand
father with lung cancer and my oldest son is having symptoms of either RA,
lupus, but his nosebleeds and joint pain point to leukemia from what I have
found on the net. He had a battery of test and lab drawn this morning and we
will get results Monday. He has not had the bone marrow test but if the
other test are abnormal he will do that next. btw this is the same son that
a year or two ago I thought might have lupus. He had to quit the football
team because of fatigue. He gets joint pain and get very very cold when he
has it. He also has a fine rash all over his arms and trunk.
He is pretty irritable lately and very moody. He also has had weird fevers
that do not point to anything.
I am going to find out whats up with this kids health so he can have a
decent life as he enters high school.
Sorry this is so long but had some things to get off my chest.

Thank you.

I'm sorry to hear that luv. If any of us can be of help, let us know, k?
The cancer newsgroup has been one of the worst ones for trolls, spammers,
conspiracists, quackcures - a big mess (over the years) so me and a few people
have "cleaned it up" yet I get flamed for that too.
You are welcome to post there if you think the benefit over rides the "cost" (ie
stress).
There's also the ACOR private mailing lists if you're interested.

If you find out his type of lung cancer SCLC or NSCLC it's usually listed
alphabetically.
Some people stay on their "home" newsgroup too, like here. I'm sure the others
here care deeply about you and your grandfather.

It must be such a worry for you.
I can sympathize on that. Many of us have have kids and we're frustrated when
they have illnesses that are hard to pin down. I sure hope they get to the
bottom of your son's problems. Let us know, K?

No problem ! Vent anytime, I'm reading and so are the others.
It's quiet right now on the newsgroup but there's lots of us around who care.
Soft hugs to you, Rhonda,

Oh Rhonda,
I'm so sorry to hear this. I will pray that your son doesn't have
leukemia. How scared you must be, but please don't assume anything &
worry yourself too much. Just do what you have to do & get some answers
& take it all one day at a time.
My prayers will be with your uncle as well.
If you decide to post at the cancer ng, I hope all goes well. I have
seen some of what J is talking about, so if it gets to be too much,
we'll be here. I've lost plenty of family to cancer, including both
parents & I know cancer has touched the lives of many here in one way or
another.
Take care, hun. My prayers are with you too. Please keep us updated,
k?
With Love,
Maggie
