Do any of you have a husband, boyfriend or "teenage" son, or yourself for
that matter that subscribes to or reads and has "Super Chevy" magazine?

My son, Paul, painted a car that placed in the Las Vegas Car show
Thanksgiving time of 03 for "Best Paint" ....the car is an older box stlye
Chevy Nova Orange in color.  Anyways it is supposed to be on the cover of
the magazine.  It is owned by a "kid" named Chad from Turlock Calif.

I can not find the magazine anywhere.  I even got a subscription so I
wouldn't miss the issue but it hasn't come and the magazine is supposed to
be out.  If anyone has it, and is willing to part with it I will be glad to
pay for the issue and the cost to send it to me.

Hugs,
Sherry

Hello Sherry, Isn't that annoying when the one we want doesn't show up..
I don't get that magazine but if you look here http://www.superchevy-web.com/
under "Subscriber Services", it says "Missing or damaged issues? Report it here
so we can help! "

I once ordered a copy of a magazine that I saw in an office. Magazine companies
often keep back copies for the above and such reasons and charge a nominal fee.
Check that web page under "contacts" on how to do these.  There's a "Back
Issues" section for that purpose with lots of information and options.  If it's
"priceless", you may even want to order several now, before too much time
passes and they may not have more copies.  PS I think I called to be sure I was
getting the right copy.  There's other types of contacts there.

Hope this helps.
Hugs

That's so kewl, Sherry!  I hope you find it with what J suggested.
Pretty sure you will, but if not; maybe they can at least tell you which
issue it is that you need & then you could go to www.froogle.com & put
in a search.  It will show that issue from all over the web/world *&* at
the cheapest price.

Thanks J!  I called a number I found in the link you provided and they gave
me a number to call in Colorado.  Was too late and they were closed so will
try tomorrow.

The Orange car on the cover of the magazine in the link you sent was the car
he painted.  This is the 3rd car he has painted that has been in a magazine
but the firsttime that they mention painted by usually just give the name of
the shop.

Which one Sherry? I want so bad to identify it.
You said "box style" I only see one or two like that, one has a hood open and
it's red.
Then there's one in the top right corner ..kind of looks orange "on newsstands
now"..

Anyhow hope you can get the copy you're looking for.

Nicole, Don't know how long it has been since you have seen Turlock but it
is growing fast!  We live up the road a few miles in not so small anymore
Oakdale.

We've been there within the last 6 months.  It reminds me of the town I grew
up in... farming town.  I did get lost more than once there LOL
DH misses his unit there.  Maybe soon, we'll be back.  But I don't know if
I'm up for a deployment.
Take care

I hear you on not being ready for any deployments!  Thank heavens my days of
those worries are over.  Husband did Vietnam and son is civilian and too old
if they start a draft.  But I am an Army Brat and therefore well aware of
the the military life.

Yes, this area is all farming and dairy.  What is that the ads say....Happy
cows come from CA.  LOL
