Hi all! OK - this weekend we will have a big bash at my daughters house -
the last few have been for kids birthdays, but this one is for the adults.
June is nutzoid around here with six birthdays and Fathers Day to boot. So I
have managed to make a vat of potato salad, (shopping for supplies was
another story) and today she will be over here and we wall bake three
birthday cakes!

Some may recall that my daughter and I had a huge rift a couple of years
ago - but we are mending and building on a better foundation now.  However
her marriage is shaky - so we will also be having the two oldest grandkids a
lot this summer!! another Good Thing!

With a large deck overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains - the
barbecue will be hot and the party loud I am sure, but all any of us has in
mind is to enjoy ourselves.
Just hope the current flare is gone ...........
